Insurance brokers act as intermediaries between you (the client) and the insurance companies. As brokers, we represent you and approach insurance carriers with your best interest in mind. We focus on providing expert, personalized service, and will be there to represent you in the event of a claim. This is one of many advantages.
The policy will provide coverage for the bodily injury and property damage that you cause to a third party, which you would be held legally responsible for in a civil court of law. It will also provide coverage for groundless allegations of wrongdoing. This is a significant benefit, as you would otherwise be looking at hiring your own lawyer and the hourly rate for this representation will add up very quickly. Depending on your operation, there are other types of liability insurance you may require. We encourage you to contact our office, if you have any questions regarding this coverage.
Anytime you have questions regarding coverage or make any changes to your business operations, you should contact your broker immediately. Ideally you will be speaking to us several times a year or at the very least prior to renewal of the policy. Depending on your needs and the nature of your insurance program, some clients may require contact on a daily basis. Good communication benefits all parties involved.
Do I need to add my child as a driver on my auto policy now that he/she has his/her learners permit?
He/she does not need to be added as a driver until he/she gets his/her Class 5 license, but we will require their full name, date of birth and driver license number.
A deductible is the portion of the loss for which you are responsible to pay. The higher the deductible, the lower the premium is for that coverage.
If your vehicle is at least 15 years old and is not used as your daily drive vehicle, it can most likely be insured under our classic car program with full coverage and reduced premium.
